Our Marijuana Beliefs at Buddy Delivery

Jun 23, 2021Markus Joseph

Hello! Recently, Buddy Delivery has celebrated our first full year of operation and we have nobody to thank but all of you reading this! To show our thanks, we have a hidden discount code for any of our bud and/or CBD products: “Thanks20” will provide you with 20% discount on our site for any one time orders (valid until July 2021)! To celebrate our 1st year, we thought we would share with you what drives our team to reach our full potential.

At Buddy Delivery, we see marijuana as a resource that has the potential to heal the world, but has sadly lost its sentiment due to the poor stigmatization placed upon it by previous generations. We believe that with the proper education and time, weed will continue to grow and will one day diminish the stigmatization surrounding it. One day, we believe the streets will be filled with as many marijuana lounges as we find clubs and bars.

Marijuana is often labelled as a cause of laziness, dullness and distortion of reality/paranoia, and in reality, it is quite the opposite. From our experience, we have used our beloved THC to complete troublesome tasks and help energize ourselves to become more productive-- the key is in the type/amount of consumption and how you react to your high.

We always recommend first time users to begin very slowly. As at first, the “high” from marijuana can often be very overpowering if you are not prepared for it. First time users should look away from concentrated products, such as shatter and vaporizers, and choose to go with edibles or pre-rolls. To reiterate, don’t forget to gradually start but, as a recommendation, we find a few hits of a joint or 10 mg of any edible to be a good starting point.

If you find yourself lacking motivation on weed, it might not be because of the plant. The highness of marijuana can lead to laziness, but it can be conquered fairly easily with some practice. Firstly, we recommend trying out a new form of consumption (joints, edibles, vaporizers) or switching to a Sativa based THC form as these often come with an extra boost of energy. Secondly, our biggest tip is to change how you begin your sesh, if you start smoking on the couch while watching TV, it will be hard to leave the couch, but if you begin smoking while being productive, it will often carry over into the high and might even increase your focus. If this isn't feasible, try going for a walk during your consumption of marijuana, as the increased blood flow can help improve energy levels. Thirdly, if all else fails, try mixing your Marijuana with a cup of coffee or redbull, as caffeine and THC make a great couple.

To help combat paranoia, we always recommend first time users to begin very slowly, as at first, the “high” from marijuana can often be very overpowering if you are not prepared for it. First time users should look away from concentrated products such as shatter and vaporizers, and choose to go with edibles or pre rolls. Don’t forget to start slowly though, we find a few hits of a joint or 10 mg of any edible to be a good starting point.

If you are a long-time user who recently began to undergo paranoia, we advise to lower your dosage, ensure you are in a comfortable location while smoking (until you feel at ease), make sure to consume enough water to avoid any coughing and/or cotton mouth which can easily lead to a “bad” high. Lastly, we recommend mixing your consumption of THC with CBD, whether it is in a 1:1 CBD THC edible, or a mix of CBD oil with a joint or bowl. CBD can often remove these anxious thoughts and leave your high to be purely relaxation and enjoyment.
